Step 1: Complete a Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
FTA: Completing a Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
A Goods Receipt Note (GRN) is a document used to confirm that items delivered by a Supplier have been received accurately in the Warehouse.
1. Home > Warehouse Control Centre

2. Dashboard > Inbound Items
The number displayed in ‘Inbound Items’ cart represents how many Purchase Order are still expected to be received in your warehouse.

3. Purchase Order and Received Items
- Select the Purchase Order you are receiving items for.
- Enter the received quantity for each item, and optionally set a part photo.
- Finally, click save, and your GRN is now complete.

Step 2: Store Items using ‘Put Instructions’
FTA - Completing Put Instructions
Put Instructions tell the user where newly received parts should be placed in the warehouse or storage area after a GRN is completed. They guide the correct bin, shelf, or storage location so inventory is organised and stored accurately.
1. Home > Warehouse Control Centre

2. Dashboard > Putaway

3. Putaway Instructions
Click Complete, and your Putaway Instructions have been saved successfully.

Step 3: System automatically allocates inventory
Let the system automatically assign available inventory to a repair request as soon as it detects a demand for a specific part and as soon as stock becomes available.
This feature can be enabled under General Service Configurations.

Step 4: Fulfill orders with 'Pick Instructions'
FTA - Completing Pick Instructions
Pick Instructions indicate which parts need to be collected from inventory and which technician they're assigned to. They ensure the correct items are picked from the warehouse for the job.
1. Home > Warehouse Control Centre

2. Dashboard > Pick

3. Select Tech & Part
