Add Insurance Most Common Insurance Types

Insurance Types refer to the various types of insurance coverage Service Providers should have to protect them from potential risks and liabilities associated with their service activities. 

Page Navigation Home > Configuration > Settings > Risk Mgt: Insurance Types

 

The mandatory insurances are set by the service manager and are listed at the top of the page. 

To keep these insurances up-to-date, the Service Manager will have to manually upload their documents.

 

Add Insurance

  1. Click on Add New Insurance Record on the bottom right of the screen 


     
  2. Select the Type of Insurance you want to add, and enter the Valid dates. You can also add a document if necessary. Then click on Submit.

 

Most Common Insurance Types

General Liability  Covers claims related to bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury that might occur during the course of providing services.
Professional Liability  Covers claims arising from mistakes, negligence, or failure to perform services to the expected standard.
Workers' Compensation  Covers medical expenses, lost wages, and rehabilitation costs for employees who are injured or become ill while working. 
Commercial Property Covers damage to the service provider's physical property, such as offices, equipment, and tools, due to events like fire, theft, or natural disasters.
Cyber Liability Covers losses related to data breaches, cyber-attacks, and other digital threats.
Product Liability Covers claims arising from the use of products provided by the service provider that cause harm or injury.
